A bomb attack on a bus in Quetta, capital of the restive Baluchistan province, killed 14 women students, and another 11 people died in a blast at a city hospital and 17 wounded in the bombing around 90 minutes later[3].


Bomb attack destroys Quaid’s residency in Ziarat

Militants attacked the Quaid-e-Azam residency in Ziarat with hand grenades. They destroyed the historical monument where the founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah spent his last days. A police man outside the Quaid’s residency was also killed in the attack[4].


Funeral targeted in suicide attack

At least 28 people, including PTI MPA Imran Mohmand were killed and sixty others wounded, among them seven severely when a loud explosion ripped through a funeral here in Mardan[5].

A suicide bomber blew himself up in Gulshan Colony, Peshawar, killing 15 and leaving 22 injured. The Hussaini Madrassa in the area was the target of the blast. The interior of the madrassa was destroyed. There were around 40 people inside the madrassa at the time of the blast[7].
